I would say the other shoe just dropped.

Well...that escalated quickly.

I agree there are mixed messages here.

 

Additionally, we all need to understand, Highlands has a terrific baseball team this year and there are several members on BGP that don't want this incident to hurt the team's chances. In other words, when some members comment you have to consider the possibility that they may steer the conversation in a direction that will ensure the baseball team has all their players for the envisioned run.

 

We all have agendas that drive our thoughts/posts. It's not always as deep as some believe. A few on here think I'm blinded by my friendship with Jeremy. I am loyal but I'm also pragmatic.

 

So if there are baseball parents on BGP that have gone silent or are being perceived to post with agendas I get that.

The former football player who is now at Georgetown says on Twitter that is not the worst thing to happen in the locker rooms. I'm guessing he is talking about Highlands since that is where he went. So exactly what is the worst thing to happen in a Highlands locker room? Sodomy? Just asking. Remember, this came from a recent Highland grad.

It's just sad that any kid would think that doing something like that would be funny! For 1 he is supposed to be your teammate. I know that not all kids are going to get along but this is just over the top for me. I feel sorry for all parties involved especially the victim.

Does the victim play any other sports? If not I think that it makes it worse for him. Having to not play a sport that he probably loves due to some classless bully's action.

If this was my child I would do everything in my power to see that the most harsh punishment was given to all involved.

What facts do we know 100% without a doubt are true?

 

1. Kid got some urine on his body. Don't know how much. Don't know where.

2. Kid/victim quit.

3. School suspensions were issued.

 

 

Unless I am missing other facts that are indisputable I'd say it's hard to pass judgment on anything.
