I think they do lose a lot from last years team.

 

I'm really looking forward to the CCH/Dixie Match up though. Shulte cousins will be going at it on the gridiron!

Owensboro is too high...they lost a lot.

 

Christian Co. has a monster growing in the West. They return quite a few big, very talented skill players.

 

Pulaski's only challenger in the East is Highlands IMO. I just don't see Cov Cath or any of those others holding them under 40.

 

Grayson was hit hard by graduation.

Christian Co. is a sleeping giant. Alot of people in Owensboro think it's going to be another cake walk in the finals. I think they forgot they moved up to 5-A.

They are returning a very young Oline .

I think Highlands does return a lot. They don't have a Hoge, but they'll start a good QB. When haven't they? I have respect for Bowling Green. They could win it. I saw Pulaski last year and wasn't impressed. Highlands would've hung 60 on them. They had no speed. They just never ran into a good team that had speed. I hope Highlands gets far enough to play Pulaski. Covcath may one day be a factor too.(nah, they never are). I loved Owensboro's offense. I don't know what they return or the new coaches plan. I'm ready for football though.

 

Your not giving CCH enough credit. Highlands is a tough "out" when it comes to playoffs. Many,many years CCH would have won state, if it wasn't for Highlands.

Notables coming back on defense are Shields (sp?) and Thorson (sp?) on d-line.

Pitzer (sp) at linebacker.

 

I believe d-line and defensive backfield were hit hard by graduation.

They'll have five starters from last years team returning. They've found the missing pieces. Now it's just a matter of development. Easy to be "down" after graduating one of the best Dixie Heights senior football classes of all time.

 

Dixie Heights has made great strides in the last three years to develop a culture of accountability, team building, hard work, and family. Coach Brossart and his staff are at the heart of it and are to be commended for doing a great job. :thumb:

I seen Pulaski County play one time and SK beat them 50 to 7.

Not sure what a game from 3 years has to do with next season?

Was being sarcastic...not really sure what this guy would know about CovCath. They actually return several players that started several games at times.
