Highlands scheduled this game with the intention of seeing a quality opponent and exposing weaknesses to the team and learning from those weaknesses. Now if SK can live up to their end of the deal, then it will be a win win for both teams.

 

I'm guessing Highlands will surprise a few teams this year as I get the impression where if you want to beat Highlands, do it this year. Wait, I think the same was said about last year. Oh well, guess August can't get here soon enough.

Any news about HHS football. It's been really quiet this spring.

You have quite a few BGP dads that have graduated the last two years. Will be up to BBW, JOAT, and a few others to keep us informed.

No spring ball kind of kept things quiet also.

Seems like business as usual. They are making the most of the new field house: A lot more weight stations and room to do drills to go faster, harder, and heavier than ever.

A few months ago, someone posted that there may be an addition or two after the first week in June.

 

Guess we need to wait till Monday to see if anything develops. Or has it already and it's hush hush. I'm one of those graduating Dads so mostly out of the loop. Hahaha!

We graduate, we just don't grow up.

I am completely out of the loop. So what is going on with the program? Expect it to be pretty much like every year.

 

Offensive line is very experienced going in which is a big plus. Pretty decent receiving corps returning. A running back that has been a solid contributor the last two years. QB with all the physical tools, now just needs to put everything together.

 

Defense returns less, but that is always the case it seems like. Sure there are guys that have waited their turn and will be ready to step in and make plays.

 

Special team coverage units return most if not all kids. Would like to see the return game improve, especially punt returns. Kids are capable returners, but the blocking has not been the best the last few seasons.
