There are questions about his competition but he is hands down the #1 back.

I have seen him play on a few occasions and never saw him run between the tackles, always something outside so he could use his speed. Everyone is fast in the SEC and Big 10.

So from what I witnessed he isn't physical and got tackled easy when he got between the tackles.

He is a finess back and some big stud LB or DE will break him in two.

If his rankings are based on combines, then Tony Mandrich did great also and see how that worked out.

Not that this means anything but when I was Christmas shopping a couple of weeks ago in Richmond, one of the employees at Walmart that I was chatting with said he was an EKU freshman and a grad of Madison Southern. When I asked him where he thought Harris would go to college his answer was immeadiate, he said UK. He seemed to think it was a definite thing.

 

As I said, that doesn't mean he will end up at UK. After talking with the young man for a while I also learned that he was a huge Kentucky fan. So his talk might have only been wishful thinking.

I do agree he played against weak competition. But a lot of high schoolers play against weak competition that are high level guys. As JA said regardless he is the number 1 back.

He was a great college player.

I'm with Mountain Ref, he will just be another RB on the roster. Just hope he gets his degree and makes the most out of his education. Don't think Football is his future.
