Jason Hatcher (was originally committed to USCalifornia) had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Notre Dame, Texas A&M among about 30 others.

 

James Quick OVed at Oregon and had an offer. Also had offers from Auburn, Alabama, OSU among many others.

 

Very few of those offers were commitable. And either way the major recruits are picking the elite schools. That's why they remain the elite schools...

How many times has UGA been voted in the Top 10 in the last 5 years? They are one of the 20 or so schools that have a legit chance to win it every year. Mainly because they get a lot of elite talent every year...

And like I said, some do pick schools that aren't the traditional powers. I'll stick with Elam as the only one that ends up matching performance to hype. Most pick the elite schools if they have elite offers. That's why they stay elite and Kentucky stays Kentucky. There isn't really a logical debate here...

Damian already knows both of these schools have potential to win the Championship. Tonight didn't move the barrier for him at all IMO.

You might be right I just get the feeling he wants to be on the big stage as opposed to Elam. Still, The Commonwealth is an amazing recruiter and I would not be shocked for him to "stay home."

Not just because of that article, but I am going to change my prediction and say he is Alabama bound.

Although I do find this very interesting. Many of the experts that had Harris going to Alabama have changed their predictions and have chosen Harris to UK in the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

Also, many of the OSU picks are not recent. Many of them date to a year ago when OSU was the overwhelming favorite.

I know it is an "all star game" but Harris has looked good thus far.

Ended with 16 for 110 and Td. Pretty good for a kid who "can't play" outside of Ky, supposedly. Played very well and played with some of the best.
