Let me go ahead and make my annual statement about High school kids and making announcements.

 

I hate the idea of multpile hats, stages, and trying to make a big scene. Social Media and ESPN have created this mentality.

Never saw Alexander play, but I have seen Harris.

 

Putting up BIG numbers vs Rockcastle, Whitley, South Laurel dont count very much for me since almost everyone else did too.

Im sure the level of teams Alexander played wasnt even close to the medicore teams Harris played against.

 

Did you miss the part where he had 110 yards and a touchdown in the UA All-American Bowl against the country's top high school talent? In my opinion he's shown he can compete against top talent.

I think it's impressive how quite Damien has been this whole process too. He hasn't really drawn too much attention to himself. Very good job by his mother, coaches, and all those around him to keep him grounded. Very good trait to have when you can choose whatever college you want to go to.

Plus, he was tackled twice as he got the hand off that costs him about 10-12 yards off the total.

I find it ironic that every KY kid gets questioned for playing "inferior" competition except for Alexander. However, when some of these kids get on a National stage, they perform exceptionally well against their National peers. Guess some people need reasons for their lame justifications.

I am going all in on BBN for Damien. Would be shocked if he went before his entire school and picked someone other than UK.

Not sure any other kids had a great combine like him to get invited.

 

It dont matter, time will tell if Im right or wrong. And either way it will not matter or affect me in any way.

I hope the best for him as he seems a very good kid and humbled and not like some I see on TV acting like idiots.
