Yep. I know a couple don't think anything of it but to me it really shows the character of the player and don't use the kids just being kids excuse because there are a lot more "kids" the same age who know how to handle themselves with class.

 

I was just curious. The only comments I remembered where the Mr. Football ones. They didn't bother me but I enjoy passionate responses as opposed to the cliche responses. I'm glad he let us know he was disappointed that he didn't win it and that he felt he was the best choice. Love it!!!

Kinda my theory on deciding after the season and almost as far into school as he could minus signing day.

If this is true that is a very wise decision on his part. I do think that he genuinely enjoyed the recruiting process and I feel like he genuinely enjoyed all of the time he has spent being recruited by UK. Whether UK did enough to convince him to attend school there remains to be seen but I feel like he has a lot of love for UK and wasn't just going through the motions with UK.

Yeah you don't go to almost every UK home game and hang out and become friends with all the current players and recruits if you are just including UK to please some people. He obviously has some love for UK, whether it is more love than Bama or OSU we will see.

The kid visited UK probably 20 times durig his recruitment. I could see him visiting for the big games and basketball games to have fun as part of the recruiting process...but to come as many times as he did would suggest to me there was genuine interest.

 

Furthermore..if this was the case he would have kept interest in Louisville as well and visited them for their bigger games. Nothing would have further solidified his significance in state more than the potential of a UK vs. UL decision to make sure everyone in the state cared.

How often can a recruit travel to Columbus and Tuscaloosa that is from Berea KY? It would be a costly trip, even if the tickets were free.

20 times though... I dont see someone who is just giving lip service going that extreme.

 

Think about Lamar Dawson who went to USC..he maybe visited UK 3-4 times tops.

 

I am not saying he is picking UK.. but to me there is absolutely no doubt that he has been genuinely interested.
