BGPer of the Year

Featured Replies

Another ridiculous "look at me I'm popular" poll thread, as if the "do I have more likes than you" threads weren't enough.

Having said that, I agree with RTS.

I guess we know who it won't be this year!

I nominate Randy Parker.

Randy is a glue to BGP that is a huge necessity to BGP and the functionality of BGP. In addition to his moderating duties, Randy runs multiple contests in different forums, participates and offers conversations in a large amount of threads, he offers counsel to members offline when needed(:D) and he does numerous other things for BGP that go unnoticed and unrecognized by the masses. From my vantage point when I think of who would be the most valuable BGPer and the BGPer of this year as well as the last couple of years, Randy Parker is at the top of my list and IMO it isn't close.

He is the #beast. Word up.

PP92 he has stood tall through adversity all year...FSU, Jameis Wilson, Race Relations, Jameis Again, Purples losing streak, Race Relations, Jameis AGAIN, FSU, Race Relations, Purples losing to Graves, defending the President, FSU Again, Duke/UK threads, Race Relations, FSU RB

PP92 has been through a lot and stood tall and proud all year!!!

In order to win any prize you must be 18 or older. Randy DNQ

The decision is easy for me. Birdsfan.

I know he wasn't with us very long this year, but has anyone seen more outpouring of love for a BGP member than for Birdsfan?

I think the BGP Poster of the Year Award should be named for Birdsfan!!!

LA, I really don't care :) lol. This is like grade school to see who is popular when threads like this come up.

What is the criteria? Someone who won't shut up until they bore people enough where the others just give up or give in? We got a lot of those, lol.

How about nominate the people who are the easiest to get along with? Those who go out of their way and reach out to others, who actual care about other viewpoints?

I say all the females get the award this year, you're included mcpapa ;)

Some people just aren't wired to be the one of the cool kids. You need to come to grips with it and let the bitterness go... :bunny:
