It's a shame, never want to see that happen, but mess with the bull and sometimes you get the horns. Hate it.

Always know there is someone a little badder than you, a little crazier than you or who has a bigger gun than you. Tough way to learn the lesson for the 3 young men.

Very sad, especially over some shoes...

This does prove the need to carry concealed, however.

Once again, criminal activity leads to the loss of a young life.

Idiots

I don't feel sorry for the kid who died. The other two are lucky they can walk away and weren't shot themselves. Idiot punks.

I am all for concealed and carry. I think the guy who shot him was 100% in the right. Still, it is traumatic even if you are in the right.

Totally agree.

No doubt. I would have shot them too, but I would be sick for a LONG time about it.

You pull a piece you better be prepared to take a bullet.

I shot some guns this weekend for the first time and it was awesome. I never have felt the need to carry in the past but I am thinking hard about picking up a 9MM for protection.

Completely agree. No one wants something like taking a life on their conscious.

The more these criminals see that law abiding citizens will defend themselves, the more it will deter them. Criminals like this have a bully mindset. Stand up to a bully enough, they'll stop...one way or another

Weird stuff happens at the Dayton Mall, despite its proximity to the really nice suburb of Centerville. Miamisburg, however, has really declined in recent years. Even a decade ago when I was in school at UD, I was always told to never be at the Dayton Mall after dark. Don't know what it is about that place that attracts a bad element...
