As far as you want. An excellent argument can be made for both schools. I'd say overall Mayfield has a slight edge over BG. BG is just now getting to the level that programs like Mayfield, Highlands and Trinity are at every year with pretty much regular appearances in their respective classes state finals.

In all fairness to JC obviously success in this conversation is based soley on Championships...

 

Switch JC and Belfry classes and JC might just be the goliath in 3A and 4A just got alot more interesting but still believe they would have had to have gone through Ft Thomas to win a championship which would have been tough especially over the last several yrs...oh yeah and there is still CovCath to contend with. :thumb:

I realize facts can be optional but wouldn't UK also be Co-Champions with them under the "whose better based on head-to-head theory" because it also beat both of those teams that season (in addition to losing to each of them that year).

Of course, I would be happier with the 5 straight final appearances; however, that would still make Johnson Central the King of the East due to the 5-3 record over Belfry since 2008.
