BTW, technically, the way the State has broken down where Highlands(everyone else is bringing Highlands name into it, not Highlands people) is located for playoffs, "eastern" side, wouldn't they be considered KING OF THE EAST! lol!

As far as you want. An excellent argument can be made for both schools. I'd say overall Mayfield has a slight edge over BG. BG is just now getting to the level that programs like Mayfield, Highlands and Trinity are at every year with pretty much regular appearances in their respective classes state finals.

Johnson Central defeated Cov Cath in 2010. Guess you don't do much research. However, did they win state that year..? No. Belfry didn't either, but they made it there. JC didn't. Guess JC was better than them that year too.

In previous posts (I have had many today) I have used Highlands and/or CovCath. JC lost to Highlands the following week after defeating CovCath.

 

The question should have read, who besides JC has defeated Highlands and/or CovCath most recently? We know that Belfry defeated Highlands 38-7 in 1990.

Nope. But why would anyone? JC does it because they're in their way of a state championship. Anyone else East of Lexington doesn't have to. Lol.
