Again, Belfry is not King of the East due to its losses to Johnson Central since 2008.

I realize facts can be optional but wouldn't UK also be Co-Champions with them under the "whose better based on head-to-head theory" because it also beat both of those teams that season (in addition to losing to each of them that year).

Heck yeah, Belfry has been more successful in the tournament. However, Belfry has not had to face the brick wall that is Highlands and CovCath.

You can ask the same thing about Belfry. Because they have had more success in the State Tournamnet over the last 10 years, they should be rewarded something for that. Hence the whole subliminal message from the beginning. Toot toot your horn the loudest. If it makes someone feel better about themselves that they need to be named Best Of The East on BGP, then have at it. Kinda of trivial isn't it?

 

BTW, technically, the way the State has broken down where Highlands(everyone else is bringing Highlands name into it, not Highlands people) is located for playoffs, "eastern" side, wouldn't they be considered KING OF THE EAST! lol!
