i don't understand why some always feel the need to list who is better than others when it is pure speculation and especially when it is talking about teams in other classes. Maybe it's just the insecurity of some that feel the need to blow their teams own horn just to keep them in the conversation. If for instance Highlands thinks they are the 2nd best team in the state, then play and beat every 6A and 5A team in the state, until then juust be happy with the best in 4A. Same for any team in any class period. The 6A title will be decided by Trinity and Dixie Heights, that is all that matters for those 2 schools and all that should matter.

I think he has over 2,000 yards passing. I don't see Dixie running on Trinity.

 

He has really come into his own as a QB. I have been very impressed with his development since the Cocoa game. He has come on as a leader and a good QB to boot. I hope Larry Harper has been taking notes for next season.

I'm with you and hope you are right but I know for a fact there is no way to prepare for the moment unless you've already been there. I hope Dixie starts on D first as shamrock stated, it gives the boys time to calm the nerves and get into football mode.

 

I'll be listening to the game and pulling for them every step of the way.

"H" as in "high" school. I think they were one of the first , if not the first, high schools in Louisville. H has something to do with that.

Congratulations! I'm happy for them. Not sure what it has to do with predicting the winner of this game though. :idunno:

 

Oh, and yes what you say may be true, but Dixie also demolished the team you are referring to so whatever comparison you are trying to make is irrelevant. You can't compare Team A's performances against Teams X, Y, and Z to say how they would do against Team B. It's about matchups.

 

Basically all that is to say: I, nor probably any other Dixie supporter, really cares about T's opponents. It's all about our team and players continuing to take it one play at a time like they have all year.

Its a very important factor for neutral people who don't have their head in the sand. Every poll, ranking system, or game predictor will look at it. It has everything to do with predicting games. That's how people predict games.

Don't think Dixie really cares. The only game Dixie cares about is this weeks.

Very proud of Ryan Young. Ryan has hung in there through an ankle injury and was out with a concussion this year. He is one tough kid who has worked hard since his freshman year and played a lot of 2nd fiddle at the QB position in his 4 years at Trinity. He was never handed an opportunity that he didn't do his best to make the most of for his team. He came in more than a few times to rally the team. He's a good leader, well respected by his teammates and works hard. He never pouted or wavered when he sat on the sidelines and he has earned the right to play QB at Trinity this weekend against Dixie Heights. This senior class is a good one and they seem to be peaking at the right time so lets hope they go out with another State Championship down at WKU on Saturday night.

Really pulling for Ryan Young in this one. Know he has been in and out of the lineup earlier this year, but has really come on strong!
