If thet try to focus on running then I don't forsee it going well for Dixie.

That's what they all say. People have said that every week and Dixie continues to run it right over people. You may be right. I will say this - if they don't focus on the run it will go worse. If you doubt me look at their game versus Covington Catholic. You have to go with what brought to the dance.

I will roll with Coach Brossart's comment a few weeks back. If Dixie throws more than 10 passes in the game they are in trouble.

Keep saying it, you'll see what I am talking about next week.

They have played almost no one all season, they will finally face a real defense next Saturday. If they can't pass effectively they will lose.
:troll:

FANTASTIC...and last time a team forced the pass, Dixie completed...... 16-18!

No doubt either team will underestimate the other ( the fans yes, the teams, not so much ). And again all the pressure is on Trinity. Believing in a great group of Dixie Heights Colonel Student-Athletes!

ONE PLAY AT A TIME...:thumb:

Like I said, you may be right. It doesn't matter if you are right. Dixie has to run the ball. If that causes them to lose by 4 TD's, then you tip your hat and say we did our best. Dixie's best is running the ball.

Believe me, there is ZERO arrogance with the players & coaches on T as far as overlooking opponents. They prepared all week for Meade County like they were the Seattle Seahawks. And they will not be taking DH lightly either. This is not the type of T team that can just walk out there & win a ballgame against a good opponent without playing their "A" game. They prepare & work their tails off for every single opponent, can't afford to do otherwise. So for anyone that thinks T is going to overlook DH, think again.

I like your style SC...it's going to be a great battle!

The "secret sauce" for Trinity is the willingness and ability to prepare. I don't doubt the DH willingness to prepare. I do question their ability. I say that not to disparage the coaches, but rather what they have learned from a weak schedule. If you haven't experienced how your team reacts to different situations, you may come up with a winning game plan, but it is a lot harder. There is very little that DH can do that Trinity hasn't seen. There will be a lot more guesswork involved for the DH staff. They may guess right, but don't count on it. Rocks by 20.

And what will your coaches do when they have 2 defensive linemen in your backfield on every play, WITHOUT BLITZING! Trust me, I was a Dixie skeptic not long ago!

And you all proceeded to choke immediately after that. If you had done anything after beating the most disappointing and maligned team of the Beatty era you'd have some room to gloat.

As it is you beat a team that almost all the Trinity supporters will tell you was one of the least cohesive the school had in a long time. Go ahead and hang your hat on that one, maybe that will make the drive back from BG more soothing after the loss.

And Your drive will be less so you'll need less tissues.

Dixie is for real. They made it to the title game because they are good enough to be there. There's No one to choke against in a mud bowl the next week too. Talking bad about a team that I remember as being touted the state champs in hindsight is beneath you and the rocks. That team was very good. We were better.

You NKY 6A guys are so cute when you puff up your chests like this. It's precious, truly it is.

Yes and that rocks team you say sucked was 10-2. That's cute too.

Their record might have been good, but they were not a solid squad. Unlike the guys in NKY we know a record can hide a paper tiger.

Look I was there to see it the past two times we've faced the rocks. I remember all the pre game talk and post game too. It will be the same this year. You rocks guys like to bully your opposition into thinking they can't compete. We know we can. We have. We believe. See ya Saturday.

You are doing a good job filling the role of uk#1fan in this thread. Keep it coming because it is entertaining. Dixie fans have been well schooled in your type of puffery on BGP after facing Simon Kenton twice.

PS ... I am not a Dixie fan, just in case you didn't know.

That is the same feeling Meade County had.....until.....

We're not Meade. We've played you before. We know what it takes.
