theguru Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Wow, congrats Cooper. Attention Cooper administration and boosters, give Coach Borchers some more money so he stays put.
StraightShooter Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Excellent job by Cooper. Best wishes next week down South!
colonel-fan Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Borchers does a nice job, but the sledding gets tougher next year.
Hellbird Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Wow, congrats Cooper. Attention Cooper administration and boosters, give Coach Borchers some more money so he stays put. I agree. I said it back in 2012 he was one of the best in the area. He wins with no superstars yet keeps winning. That is 2 regional titles in 3 years. Where re are those that called Cooper horrible and Terrible after only watching them 1 game? i won't make a prediction for next week but what they've done so far is pretty impressive. Borchers works magic. His defense is always impressive with no names.
PigSkin Junkie Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 No doubt the defense dominated tonight but TCA was spectacular! He is not the size of Powell or England or Pleasant but he was shedding tackles and carrying would-be tacklers all night. Great team win!
NEERFAN Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Congrats to the Jags. These two disticts have played some high scoring games over the years.
BIGZIG Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Final Congratulations to Coach Bothers and his Cooper Jaguars. Good luck next week Coach.
Mr. Sixer Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Borchers does a nice job, but the sledding gets tougher next year. Trust me, there is not a soul at Cooper or in Union that is the least worried about next year. The Jags are on focused on trying to take care of business THIS season.
CooperSportsFan Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Going into tonight I knew if the Offense showed up we would do great. Our defense has been hitting on all cylinders, just need some offense and we got it. TCA with 351 yds and 4 TDs
gchs_uk9 Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Anderson County, for all their success over the last several years, has really struggled to stop teams in the playoffs. Last four years in playoff games, Anderson County is 9-4, but is giving up 32 points per game. Have to get better on that side of the ball.
Hellbird Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I'm so looking forward to Thanksgiving. The tradition continues for the Jags and the Jags fans celebrating and watching practice that morning. i know 2 of us who will be there. My son was hoping for a win tonight because he will be back in town for the first time since August and wanted to go to their practice Thanksgiving morning. Should be fun!
