Bottom Line - although no doubt building and moving up, U.K. is still a BAD football team. Talent is a lot better but not close to enough to compete in the SEC week in and week out. Add absolutely NO, Notta, 0 depth and U.K. is where I thought they would be, still not even remotely close.

Some people (in general) still cannot understand Just HOW Bad the U.K. Program was when Stoops arrived. Forget the SEC, which it was bottom but probably one of the 5-10 Worst NCAA football programs in the country.

This. Reality is most 4 stars in Ohio would be 3 stars if they were born in Florida or Georgia. UK is building a B1G roster which isn't a recipe for success in the SEC...

 

GT don't you think you have to start somewhere? Obviously they have upgraded from where they were. Sometimes to take the next step, you have to show signs of winning (which they have done this year).

 

IMO UK is never going to out recruit the elites of the SEC, we have to be able to develop the talent we have at a high level.

If they "Chosen" by OSU they deserve a bonus star...if they aren't "Chosen" by OSU they lose 1-2*'s depending on where they do sign.

No qualms with Urban and who he offers. His track record speaks for itself. I'm just trying to keep up with the rules on how to grade Ohio kids.

 

 

And I do like Ohio State. Don't confuse my argument that their schedule hurts them with me not being a fan.

I don't recal anyone bashing Urban, its the OSU fans bashing UK's recruiting that is what has drawn attention. UK has brought in their top two classes in history, but OSU fans feel the need to come into a UK thread just to tell UK fans they will always be struggling to get a 6th win with Ohio recruits. I don't get the reasoning behind it, but whatever helps you sleep at night I guess.

If there is one thing in the world I am not, it's an Ohio State fan...
