November 9, 201411 yr If he is only 30 min from Lexington he is no way 5 hours away from OSU. I drive to my sons games every Sat and we drive thru Columbus each time which is only around 2 hours from our house and Lex is only a little more than an hour if that from us. So I would say he is around 3 1/2 hrs not 5. And that 1 1/2 does make a huge difference. You guys need to stop with the facts, you are ruining John Anthonys agenda.

"And the train begins to derail" comment had nothing to do with the players. But I knew what was quoted would bring bandwaggon fans and haters out of the woodwork.. Obviously that and losing against the #1 ans #2 teams in the SEC East has brought them all out.. Congratulations. Yet you said no players commented, that I made it up. November 9, 201411 yr I have no sources, but I live in Owensboro, and work for a company whose home office is in Columbus. I'd guess that my drive is a little bit farther than it is from Madison Southern and I make it in 5 hours routinely.
November 9, 201411 yr It's a 30 minute drive for him. He is big time and will want to be in big time bowl games. That puts OSU in the mix. If he wants to win big bowl games then unfortunately that puts OSU on the sideline too.

St Timmons vs. Georgia But when he scored agaisnt South Carolina or Vandy... it was UK vs. South Carolina or UK vs. Vandy. Get over it, we make mistakes, we are human. Timmons will be fine, he's a sophomore doing Senior numbers. He will get his hands together, the coaching staff would be crazy to pull him out of the rotation....maybe if Towles would get on the same page with his receivers and stop playing like he's Peyton Manning mixed with Michael Vick we could get something going... Timmons will be fine, if the game was close I would say, yes Timmons you messed up.. but 63 points? :stop: Even Amari Cooper makes mistakes :sssh:
November 10, 201411 yr The problem I had with Timmons Saturday was that it wasn't that he dropped the pass, he was very non chalant going for the ball and really gave no effort to catch it. I don't like when players don't go all out, and that's what he did Saturday which started the process of the game getting out of hand.

When he went for the ball, it looked as if he did not care. As If it was a "oh well type of play". He used one hand, many said they seen where he re-tweeted Odel Beckham Jr.'s one hand catches about 5 days before the Georgia game. Maybe he was trying to make sportscenter top 10? :lol2:

November 10, 201411 yr Stoops can handle a drop that might ultimately keep UK out of a bowl game but he draws the line at not giving max effort. At least that's how I read him.

November 10, 201411 yr The question I have is whether he is tough enough to catch passes over the middle realizing that he is likely to be hit. He is not a big kid. Maybe he should just stay on the outside but then that makes it harder for him to get open in all areas. Against Georgia I thought his attempt to catch the ball failed not so much because of nonchalance as fear of getting hit. Not necessarily getting on Timmons------not everyone is capable of going over the middle and if a player is not, then the coaches should not call his number there. Utilize him elsewhere if you can. I think Stoops like tough kids, though, and they are at a premium.
November 10, 201411 yr Timmons is approaching bust status for me. Has a ton of talent and potential, but hasn't shown much effort.
