November 9, 201411 yr Timmons isn't why the meltdown happened, he just started it. I thought the O did good enough to win a football game today, it's a shame the defense couldn't bring it. This team is still better than most people think, the problem is when the D shows up the O is no where to be found, and today it was the opposite. When both sides show up this team can compete.
November 9, 201411 yr I wish UK would run an offense like Georgia does. Think of the talent they have at running back with the speedster in boom and kemp and the bangers in Heard and Horton. Just line up and try to run it down an opponents throats then play action to those receivers. Throw in Damian Harris next year and it could be great. Enough with the 3 yard screens that haven't worked all year.
November 9, 201411 yr Blaming Timmons for the melt down is a joke. He wasn't on the field when the defense gave up 63 points. This air raid offense has no Air! They are playing wishbone football in a shotgun formation. Special teams is bad. And defense is average. Good news they are playing a lot of young talent and playing in the toughest league. I am with you Coach on every point except one. The defense is not average. It is pathetic. I can not recall the defense ever getting off the field in games where the offense has scored to change momentum and the defense needing a stop.
November 9, 201411 yr I heard an unbelievable statistic at today's UK football game. The Georgia fumble on the "pooch" kickoff today was the first fumble recovery by UK this season. Ten games and one fumble recovery? Not good.
November 9, 201411 yr Who are these insiders? Damien is a lock for UK. OSU still talks to him regularly, I think UK needs a bowl game to wrap him up.
November 9, 201411 yr OSU still talks to him regularly, I think UK needs a bowl game to wrap him up. Doubt it, he has been to every UK home game I believe. To me that says something. That's just my opinion though, I don't have any anonymous insiders.
November 9, 201411 yr Doubt it' date=' he has been to every UK home game I believe. To me that says something. That's just my opinion though, I don't have any anonymous insiders.[/quote'] It's a 30 minute drive for him. He is big time and will want to be in big time bowl games.
November 9, 201411 yr Who are these insiders? Damien is a lock for UK. I heard differently. Should be interesting to see...
November 9, 201411 yr It's a 30 minute drive for him. He is big time and will want to be in big time bowl games. Columbus isnt exactly a long distance away.. It's not 30 minutes obviously, but if he wanted to spend a Saturday there and enjoy a game I think it wouldn't be too hard to do.. That is, if he wasn't already spending his Saturdays in Lexington. You are right though, he is big time, the SEC would be a good fit for him.

November 9, 201411 yr 5 hours each way for a kid who gets 1 paid trip by OSU, that is a factor. Another good reason to go to UK. His family won't have to make such a long drive to see him play..
November 9, 201411 yr 5 hours each way for a kid who gets 1 paid trip by OSU, that is a factor. 5? 3 and half. Easy drive.
November 9, 201411 yr I heard Bama is making a huge push for Damian. OSU may even be third in the running now.
November 9, 201411 yr 5? 3 and half. Easy drive. Let's not let facts get involved in this.. The unknown sources have spoken.
