November 4, 201411 yr Alabama is going to lose to LSU this week and then beat Auburn. Craziness is on the way folks. IMO it's the last true threat to Alabama making it to the playoffs. Yeah they play Auburn and MSU.... in Tuscaloosa. Pshh.

With the rest of the SEC season to play out, there is probably as much chance as ZERO teams from the SEC in the final four as there is two teams in the final four. It could be FSU, MSU/OSU winner, TCU/KS winner and Oregon if every SEC team has 2 losses or if a 1 loss SEC west team gets upset in SEC championship game by Georgia or Mizzou.

All were in agreement that barring a Florida somehow winning the East and winning the SEC title game, whomever is the SEC champ is in.

Don't be so sure. It's a committee vote so hopefully they're smart enough to take the best team, even if it does have two losses. Who that might be remains to be seen but the best two loss SEC team would still beat any of those other teams. So what if the committee would have to deal with all the whiners if that happened?

You cannot put a 2 or 3 loss SEC Champion, can you? You cannot put in a 2 loss team that did not even win its division, let alone its conference...
November 4, 201411 yr The committee is not going to shut the SEC out of the playoff regardless of how many scenarios play out. They're not going to punish the best conference in the nation simply due to their member teams beating up on one another. I just can't see that happening. It doesn't even matter if the best the SEC has will be 2 losses. They're going to get one team in, and possibly two.
