October 25, 201411 yr I don't like UK'S defensive motor. Players don't fly to the ball. If the first 2 defenders miss it is a 8 yds gain. Dupree is a monster...when he wants to be. Low motor. Just frustrating

October 25, 201411 yr I'm ticked, too many mistakes today. Kentucky had every opportunity to win this game and for the most part the coaches seemed to have them prepared. Poor Tackling, Poor Protection, Dropped Passes, Bad Throws to wide open receivers (yes Towles played really good but he missed on a wide open TD in the first half) and Running Backs that couldn't find a hole if you rolled it in flour.
October 25, 201411 yr U.K played a helluva game. P. Towles is the real deal, what a football game he played. What, imo was and will be the main overall problem with U.K. is lack of depth. These top of the line SEC teams go three deep, at least, at practically every position on the field. U.K. goes one - the starters. As for this one I didn't expect the Cats to play it this close I thought that they absolutely left everything they had laying out on the field. Special Teams - had they even practiced an onsides kick ? That was terrible. Stoops certainly has U.K. Football moving in the right direction. There are no such animal as a moral victory so ......Bottom Line : U.K. got beat by a better football team ....period. Best thing about this : U.K. WILL get better. On a side note - I thought that the fans at CWS were great today. This was definitely a positive image on CWS / U.K. Fans on a prime national broadcast.

If not for those, he would have had 100 yards rushing too. He was credited with 123 yards gained, but 47 lost.

He has to catch short passes & make plays with his legs. Throw it down the field & he has a better chance of dropping it than catching it. Timmons was my favorite player on the team last year. He's the exact opposite this year. Incredibly frustrating how he chokes in big situations.
