October 17, 201411 yr Seckatary Hawkins children's mystery adventure novels were written in the 1920's @ 1930's. The stories were centered around a clubhouse along the Licking River in Kenton county Ky.A young boy was elected to take down the minutes of the meetings and did not know the proper spelling . Idiot Junction is where KY 836 dead ends into KY 511 near Rockholds, Ky. That is where I was raised, for the most part. We were into the CB craze big time, tower, beam antenna, linear amplifier, ..., the works. The "Rocket Car" was a 1970 AMC Hornet with a Torque Command 199 straight 6 in it. It would do 115 mph with the gas pedal on the floor, going down hill, and a stiff wind behind it. "10-10 and on the side" is actually redundant. 10-10 means "transmission completed, standing by".
