October 15, 201411 yr I wanted an avatar that would express my opinion of what is generally posted on BGP. BGP Terms of Service, Rule #7 prohibits me from stating it in detail, and the first two letters in each word of my avatar just wasn't enough. (just found out that the word filter prevents me from combining those two letters in a post) !
October 15, 201411 yr My initial request was Oneye69 which is my nickname and favorite number. :jump: Guru shot that down quick and told me it was not appropriate for whatever reason. So I just thought of my favorite big hair band from the 80's and added 11. It is not Gryche folks.....it is Qryche11. Queensryche

October 15, 201411 yr Well, I was in a particularly unimaginative moment when my son played football for the Rocks... I always just assumed that you were a mom that still liked her Rock n' Roll. It's a name that always made me think "Hey she sounds pretty cool". If it's OK I'd still like to view it that way. You always come through as sounding cool so something tells me that no matter what the name means... YOU ROCK !!! :ylsuper:
October 15, 201411 yr Mine is pretty obvious with not much imaginative thought behind it. When I first signed up 12 years ago I didn't even realize that I'd eventually read or contribute to anything but the basketball forum, so I just picked a very generic name that followed the theme. If I recall I didn't even have an avatar for perhaps the first couple of years until I started feeling a bit lame without one. Hey "B-Ball" makes me sound so "street" doesn't it? Not that it really matters, but I'm not even sure now why the "f" in "fan" is lower case. Initially I don't think that I was putting much thought into it, or could even foresee how involved I might one day become.
