October 15, 201411 yr My initial request was Oneye69 which is my nickname and favorite number. :jump: Guru shot that down quick and told me it was not appropriate for whatever reason. So I just thought of my favorite big hair band from the 80's and added 11. It is not Gryche folks.....it is Qryche11. Queensryche I've had to explain that to quite a few folks. :lol2:

October 15, 201411 yr I was trying to teach myself Arabic around the time I joined. A Turkish guy I worked with saw my book and jokingly started calling me Habib. It's a common name and also means "friend," so I thought it would be a good choice. I also thought it would be sort of subversive to have an Arabic name on a Kentucky website.

October 15, 201411 yr Mine was a nickname I had in high school, based on a ninth-grade teacher's butchering of my last name. A few guys in the class latched onto it and it subsequently spread. Among a certain group of people from those days (and the folks on BGP), I remain "Getslow" to this day.
October 16, 201411 yr In 2000 and 2001, Danville and Boyle County won the state football championship in their respective classes. A Lexington television station referred to Danville as "title town" since both schools are located within the city limits. Even though I have a huge hatred of all clowns (they creep me out), I added clown to my name because it rhymes with town.
