I think this whole thing just screams awesome and is a great example of people who get it.

I am glad the game sold out so quickly.

 

I logged on to get tickets at 9:00:01 and the only ones available were upper level end zones. Unfortunately, that would not be ideal for 3 4 year olds so we did not buy tickets. I thought it was odd that only a small portion of the arena was available to the public.

Just read Doc's story from the Sunday paper. Pretty moving story.

I'm more interested in covering Lauren's game tomorrow than any other game I've ever covered. I can't not think about it if that makes sense.

The Mrs and I will be there with out 7 year old girl amd the mrs cousin. Thought it would be a heck of a life lesson for the girls to learn about never giving up. There will not be a dry eye in the place

Our girls basketball team is making the trip to watch the game today. Lauren is an inspiration to us all. Such a sad thing for a very sweet upbeat young lady.

I am in tears watching this. What a moment.

With all the social problems, disease, political corruption, and war going on in this world, it is stories like that of Lauren Hill that make me happy to be alive and live in the greatest country in the world. 10's of thousands of people and numerous celebrities all coming together to celebrate and cheer on complete strangers' lives. Thinking about how we are upset when our car won't heat up quick enough or the Wifi is slow is meaningless today. An ambitious 19 year old girl is dying, and how lucky is she that so many strangers hear her story and care instantly.
