Whatever man, you blew your credibility in this one talking BGP Rankings and LIT Ratings.

I don't know the kid but let me give a shoutout to McGinnis. It's a bit different running the occasional wildcat in a game vs having to step in and be the QB the entire game when you're simply not a QB. Way to hang in there, 4.

Ryle is playing very good ball right now. CCH is struggling.

That's about the way I'd sum it up too.

I look at all rankings and BGP's are more spot on, mostly. I don't see Ryle ranked high anywhere. Everybody has missed on CCH unless it's an injury thing that could later fix itself. Both are probably mediocre teams at this point.

Lord have mercy, have the "wheels fallin' off the bus" or what?

The Park Hills Mafia must be going absolutely "ape:poop:" right now.

If you have followed both teams this is no surprise. CCH was still ranked by BGP because we look at the body of work but the body has one foot in the grave now.

I talked with a high ranking CCH official last week about the PHM. I think I left him speechless...

On defense tonight, CCH was without: Zumdik @ Safety, DeMarsh @ Corner. On offense they were without: Wagner @ QB, Dressman @ QB and multiple spots, McDowell @ WR and Darlington @ RB after the 2nd play.

Personally, I was give some optimism seeing what I saw on the field tonight. In less than a week, the players and coaches had to put together an almost entirely new game plan along with new formations and sets- playing backups and asking kids to step up. Which they did in a big way in the 2nd half. I saw a team that got smacked around on offense and a little on D, then get back up swinging. I am 100% confident that once this team gets back on the mend, all this drama will be in the rear view mirror. That's my two cents anyway.

Congrats to Ryle tonight - and congrats to Cov Cath for getting your fight back.

Thanks Bluedad. Cannot make excuses for missing one safety and one corner this late in the year. A lot of teams are down two defensive starters. However, when you are on QB#3 and missing your starting RB and a WR, that is tough to overcome. I do hope most or all of them come back for the playoffs...especially the seniors.

If England gets looks from higher level colleges, I think it will be to play linebacker. That is where I think he fits best at higher level college. He doesn't look fast enough to play RB. If it is a D3 school, perhaps he could play RB there.

This.

Cov Cath's problems are all about injuries. Take the #1 and #2 QB off any team and tell me what they look like. Then take away their starting RB and WR. Add in the others. No team is going to look the same losing all that. Plus top WR Erpenbeck ... did he play tonight? I don't know any team that can lose 5 starting skill players and 2 starting DB's and not be hurt.

Erpenbeck is not their top WR. He did play.

I didn't mean THE top WR, just A top WR.

Much ado about nothing IMO. CCH is down mentally and physically right now but I expect when healthy to beat a team like Ryle. I don't think they will get a rematch with Highlands though.

This CovCath team can come back. They are not playing the same as they did early in the season. A lot of reasons for this. The good news of the colonels is they will keep working to get back on track. Will they be able to. That is a question each and every one of them has to answer for themselves.

In the game, the team made some good plays, made some bad plays and had some bad penalties.

These guys need to get healthy (And all indications are they will), commit to playing for each other.

Everyone needs to ignore all of the negative comments coming form those outside of the program or having an agenda which is not in line with the teams goals.

Come together and move forward as a TEAM.

Go Colonels.

No disrespect to these two teams, but Harrison Cty and Holmes couldn't have come at a better time.
