I haven't seen him nearly as much as you have. What I have seen of him, he doesn't outrun everyone. There is always someone faster on the field. I have seen backs much more impressive than him that didn't play RB at the big school. You never know. He may catch the eye of a coach that likes him. I just don't see him at RB in a BCS or FBS level of school. If he wants to be a RB at that level, I hope he makes it.

 

Nobody has talked about switching his side of the ball, so I would assume they like him on offense. Too early to tell. We'll see how this summer pans out. He may get faster if he works on it.

Is it me or has CovCath been the recipient of a ton of injuries the past 3 or 4 years? I know the injury bug can happen to any team, but when it continues to happen year after year you have to wonder why?

Not just them seems to go in cycles though. Ryle lost 8 seniors last year to year ending injuries. Lot's of knees. Kids are bigger and faster now. We are starting to see the type of injuries that we weren't seeing 10-20 years ago. Sucks, hate to see kids lose their seasons on any team.

If he has enough speed, the big schools will love his size. Good luck to him. Hit plenty of camps and spread the word. All it takes is one school to like him.

Yes, that basement bunker the coaching staff built beneath the school to force kids to stay in district just didn't get done in time. Hear it is finished now and no more escapees expected. Good grief.

Good point, when I played we were way too small and slow to hurt anyone.

You have to admit the team would be better with him at helm,, it would give them a more mobile QB much like the Morris kid a couple of years ago. Having a kid like him in the program would have to be an asset

First off I never said he or any other player couldn't play for Cooper, what I will tell you is It seems to me Coopers QB outplayed him and beat him head to head this year. so to think this kid who has won, what, 2 games compared to Coopers first yr QB who has won double that amount seems like he is doing just fine thanks.

Their is a trade off that you have to consider. Morris a couple yrs ago was one of the most mobile QB's in the area but the trade off was the accuracy wasn't there. Then you have what they had last year, Ludwig had great accuracy and broke every passing record at Cooper but he wasn't real mobile. I think this year Pricket is a cross between both, not as slow as Ludwig but is more accurate than Morris.

 

Not saying Ryles QB wouldn't help but I like Prickets accuracy more. I just don't think if he played for Cooper their record would be much different at all.
