He is a beast to bring down. Just wait until next year, if he stays healthy he will do his best Ickey Woods impression. That is who he reminds me of with his power running.

I thought he played Tight End?

I thought he played Tight End?

He should but Ryle has no one to run the ball. He started off this year playing TE, guess I wasn't the only one who knows how good he would be there. I also wouldn't be surprised if he plays that at the next level either. Either way he is a beast!

Saw him last season but not in a featured role like this year. Dude is easily one of the top 2 or 3 running backs in NKY. Runs hard, has speed, has power. Will be one of the bettsr running backs statewide next year IMO

Last year he tried to out run people IMO, this year he just runs over them and is so much more productive that way. Love watching him. I don't want to jinx him, but if he hits the camp circuit this off season he should have some D1 schools drooling over him.

He is not tall enough to play TE in college.

Looks like a safety to me.

Final

Colin England...that is all. Without seeing stats, had to have had every bit of 200 yds rushing.

McGinnis played qb and led Covcath back from 14-0 deficit but Ryle scores on 1 yard keeper with 21 secs left

Radio said 223 not counting the two long runs of 35 + and 25 + that got called back.

Don't argue with The Field General

He is not tall enough to play TE in college.

Maybe a WR then. Either way he is fun to watch.

Hmm...

Not a good look for CovCath

Why can't he play RB? He's about 215 now and about 6'0 or 6'1. Seems like a nice sized back to me. OLB/S on D.

Any idea how many yards Covcath's 12th man ran for on personal foul calls, way to overcome playing shorthanded Ryle. Playing some good ball when it matters!

I thnk he can. I just worry about power backs and that is what he is. I'd hate to see the pounding take its toll, but he can definitely do it. He has great hands and I'd love to see him get out in open field and see what he could do. Maybe his Injuries have me a bit hesitant about being a feature back.

Wow, what a game. My socks will be roasted over the fire for awhile to get all the water out lol. Didn't stop raining once and made a great atmosphere for a Friday night game. Congrats to The Ryle raiders on a heck of a game. They have some real quality players esp. #7. What a beast. Wishing them the best in the rest of the season.

What I did like from the Colonels was that they played a physical brand of football. They didn't quit when their backs were against the walls and they almost pulled a win on the road, against a good football team, with a lot of key players out. Which leads me to my next point.

A job well done to all the Underclassmen who played a large role in this game tonight. Sophomores Alex Shelton, Anthony Best, Matthew Thiel (sp??), Hunter Zigelmeyer (sp) and although Frosh QB AJ Meyer played two or three snaps, still impressive to step up as a freshman. And what a ball he can throw. Can anyone give me the official tackle Stats for Shelton and Thiel. Seemed like every other play you were hearing these two kids names! Congrats to the young boys!

How about the new formations The blue boys put in. A TE most of the game and even had a full back I believe. Desperate times call for desperate measures I guess lol! And for the future of this team, I have no idea what to think??? I think they will win out and recieve number 2 spot in playoffs and head down to Johnson. Not going to get ahead of my self though.

Once again, congrats to Ryle coaches and players.

Congrats Raiders, no surprise here.

HMM, no surprise?

Ryle is not even rated, while at least CC was #7 in BGP poll.

CC was rated very high until last week.

It seems now that CC is bogus.
