USA Today has 3 Florida teams in the National Top 25. None are from 8A. The Miami Central team is #7 that beat Christopher Columbus 42-14. Booker T Washington from Miami is #4.

This one will be one to watch for sure. Im going to take highlands in a squeaker, 14 to 92....see what I did there?

Central is good. GCL schools have hung w South Florida powers since they have come up here to play. Really stretching it to compare scores...Highlands 42 CC 31

Max Preps ranks HHS higher than CC around 140 Nationally to 188 Nationally or something close to that.

For anyone intending on coming to the game, I would ask you to come a little early and stop by the booth in front of the Methodist Church and purchase a hot dog and a beverage to help support the scholarship fund for the class of 1983. Birdsfan was one of the original members of the class to suggest doing this as a way of honoring those in the class that had passed away. Now the class will be honoring him in addition to others. Come out and support a great cause.
