After watching some of this on Youtube, I'm going to say that their line is athletic but small. They don't tackle well either. I'm seeing this going to be a 42-21 game in favor of Highlands. When is the last time that those kids would have played in 50 degree or cooler weather? That could play another factor, especially opening up both halves.

 

I don't think he is.......a 50 degree game in rain to these guys is not the same as a 50 degree game in rain to an NKY team.

 

I'll go out on a limb and say their coaches are watching the forecast in our area. It's not like they are going to be wearing swim trunks to the game.

Obviously. They still can't replicate the climate change in practice. 49 and rainy takes a bit to get used to. College teams from the south have issues w cold weather. The Bucs lost something like 40 games in a row in games 40 degrees or colder. It will have some impact at the beginning of both the 1st and 2nd halves.

Looks to me in the video like they have some skilled position kids who can fly. #5 looks like he will a handful to handle at WR

 

#5 is Austin Maloney who is commited to FIU. His highlights do look really nice.

If I am Coach Merritt, two notes to self...

 

1) You can not return a ball that crosses the goal line on kickoff in KY ( Highlands has always used this rule to their advantage and this week could prove big)

 

2) Prepare your young men for a culture shock...in Ft Thomas (Mayberry, USA)

 

3) KY officials have a quick trigger when it comes to "look at me" antics...(when one expresses his need to tell everyone how good he is and degrade his opponent and the sport)

He has made it his mission to prove me wrong. Accuweather.com says 57 at game time w rain at 45% probability. Even w good weather I like HHS at home.

C'mon Clyde, so if the private school in PH got a call to come to Miami and play, that they(families) wouldn't come up with the money to go. Absolutely they would. And apparently, CC of the South has done that exact thing. Safe travels for them.
