I figure there will be a full press release later.

I like the concept of having this covered and in the open. Certainly some discussion will take place of who favored the Commissioner's ruling and who was opposed to it.

Maybe so, I still think it ends up in court somewhere.

 

Myself as well. If the penalties are what Cordia considers too stiff, I don't think they waste any time in filing.

So, essentially, Cordia WILL be allowed to play this season, but can only play 15 games. No postseason. Not sure about All "A"

What I figured would happen. They originally threw a BIG penalty at them with the knowledge that they would probably negotiate some of it away/down.

 

Personally I think the administration and coach(s) should be taking the brunt of the fall...none of it happens without their consent/involvement. I like the idea of a limited schedule and no post season. Lets the kids play but there is still some penalty to it. However...who is eligible to play? And if they still have several transfers there do they open themselves right back up to trouble?

i would assume participation in the All-A is out as well, just my 2cents
