Cordia also won't be allowed to compete in the next two postseasons. Rodrick Rhodes also barred from coaching during those postseasons.

 

(he can't go to another school and coach in the postseason)

Excellent question. I would guess, however, that 15 games is 15 games no matter the circumstances. That's just a guess though. It not being a "post season" tournament, as long as they didn't go over the 15 game limit...why not? Personally though I would just get the team 15 games and stick to that.

Correct - not a KHSAA event. Will be up to the sponsor of that tournament to decide whether to allow Cordia to participate, I suppose.

With only 15 games to play, do you risk using 6-7 in the tournament and schedule only 7-8 regular season games? What if you lose in the regional All A tournament and wasted games anticipating going further? What if you get to the state final of the ALL A and exceed the 15 games? Also, probably need to consider keeping your contracts with existing teams.

That could be easily worked out I think. But, probably a safer bet to just schedule 15 games and stick to that schedule. What I would do.

I'm thinking if he can put together a 15 game schedule right now that's a small miracle in itself. Tournaments may be his best route.

Hummm...you could have a point. Not to mention the fact that there may be several schools who WON'T schedule them for all that's happened.

@TannerWYMT: Rodrick Rhodes just told me he "definitely" plans on staying at Cordia despite the penalties. Says they'll continue to fight it in court.

Put a tent over them and sell tickets.

If I thought it could help my team. That's me going in with no past perceived wrongs done against me by Cordia, however.

Hummm. Well, I'm not going out of my way to do it I don't think, but I would think about it if the circumstances were favorable to do so. However, if they still have a roster full of transfers that are somehow playing...I probably don't.
