I think SK had team pictures planned for tomorrow morning. Or maybe they thought it was best to play in Independence. I am happy! I get to watch a great football game tomorrow. I hope all you X people have a safe trip up here and back home.

 

They still need to get to the campus. What would your post look like if something did happen? They did not bow out of the scrimmage. I still have images of the wilding that went on at a Louisville gas station to unsuspecting family. You should be ashamed for your shallow perspective.

The comments on here are quite funny, however, they schools are still going to play. It's a scrimmage so it doesn't count, so I do not understand the scardy cat comments. Better safe than sorry. What if you were from nky and one of these ball players was your child. It'd be a different story. All the district wants is safety for their students and that is respectable in my book.

Honestly the purge report was treated like a bomb threat. If this was a bomb threat, game cancelled, due diligence. Happens all the time but it must be taken seriously. All these decisions are made with the what IF. Blow it of and play was not the right thing to do.

Come on people. Let's be sensible. In this day and age we need to take ALL threats seriously. Some of the most tragic events in this country's history have taken place in areas that we would least expect.
