Ever? Those mid-1990s Harrodsburg teams were really good.

I think it was 95 Beechwood that lost to Mayfield. My vote by a large margin.

What about the NCC teams that lost to Danville?

2011 Mayfield team vs Hazard that had some injuries going into that game from the slobberknocker with Beechwood in the semi's.

Beechwood was a good team but Mayfield was loaded and if they had lost that game I would be saying the same thing about the Cards.

So were those mid-90s Garrard teams. 93 & 95, in particular. That 93 team was undefeated going into the Regional Final with Bardstown & the 95 team beat the aforementioned Beechwood team in the first game of that season, if I remember correctly.

Might well be the case but I have erased any recollection of that one from my brain til the sting from it stops and it still hasn't

All wrong......Dayton GreenDevil team from 1996. 4th and goal at the 3 yard line and down by 3. Lost to eventual State Champion Beechwood Tigers.

You're wrong..... Danville and Prestonburg were both 2A in 93.....Mayfield's last 2A title.

I agree GCHS that 93 GC team was special. Lost 14-13 to Bardstown in Reg. final. Bardstown lost 14-13 to Beechwood in state final

They play ten times, Beechwood wins 7. Complacency on BW's part, it happens.

Harrodsburg's teams from 93-97. Not to mention some in the 70's that some say were just as good, if not better, especially in the backfield.
