June 23, 201412 yr My 30th is this year...I've not been since my 10th, but I plan on going to this one.
June 23, 201412 yr I'm in my tenth year (graduated in 2004) and nothing has been planned so far. I'm honestly not sure that I'll attend if it does get setup. Just don't really have much desire. I'm not very close to most of the people I was in high school anymore.
June 23, 201412 yr Highlands is having a 100 year anniversary reunion from the start of the football program. Anyone who has been associated with the football program over the last 100 years is invited. It is being held after the Paducah Tilghman game Sept 20th. Every living coach during this era is expected to attend. I have not gone to one of my reunions but plan on attending this.
June 23, 201412 yr Went to my 20th...had on ok time, glad I went. Missed the 10 and 25. I joined the Army and moved away right after high school and have been away ever since, so I didn't see most all of my class mates for that 20 years. Didn't recognize several of them when seeing them again. Supposed to be having a 30 year sometime this year but haven't heard anything about it yet. May go to this one.
June 23, 201412 yr As I've maintained, the creation of facebook and social media has eliminated the need for any type of high school reunion. Those you keep up with, you already do. Those you do not keep up with, you know all you want to know about that person because of facebook. Looks, hot or ugly spouse, kids, and job. Nothing else to cover at a reunion for those you don't associate with.

My 20 was held right as Facebook was taking off in 2008, and while many of us had reconnected,,we all had lots of catching up to do, and there were still quite a few who weren't on Facebook yet. Now, over the last 3 or 4 years, even when you do see someone you haven't seen in a while, you already know their whole story. Improbably know more know about what is going on in my circle of high school friends than I did back in high school.
June 23, 201412 yr Didn't go to my 5 year when it was held a few years ago. As others have said, I still hang out with the people I liked from high school. No need to go see the people I don't want to see.

June 23, 201412 yr I graduated with about 120 guys. Our five year and ten year reunions were both great, and I'm actually the chair of our 15 year - coming up in October.

June 23, 201412 yr I've been to all of mine & enjoyed them all. It was fun catching up with everyone. I helped in planning several of the reunions. One thing is it takes time, a lot of work and planning from about 10 people to pull off a good one.
June 23, 201412 yr I haven't been since my 10th (been out 42 years), but I have lived around the country, 1,200 miles and now 400 miles, so it takes an effort to get there. I am not motivated enough to make the trip. However, we do have a Facebook page, and I am able to keep updated with those I was closest to.
June 23, 201412 yr The older you get, the more depressing it becomes. With every reunion there comes more people passing away.
