Yep...man card revoking review is in order.

I love that RM is revoking man cards now . I think your official title should be switched from moderator to Man Card Judge.

I don't often feel a man card should be revoked. However, I think in this case the evidence is overwhelming. Nothing circumstantial at all. Heck, read his own words! :D

You realize this is grounds for a suspension?

I haven't seen any of them either. Was younger when it came out and just never made the commitment when I became older. I need to check these out and have always meant to. Just slacking.

Ok, maybe I'm the only one on here...maybe the only one on the planet...but I don't like the Godfather. I had actually never seen it all the way through, just bits here and pieces there and quite frankly what I saw didn't seem to be enough to keep my attention, but a few weeks ago one of my movie channels was playing it so I decided to sit and watch it all the way through. Honestly I find it very slow and actually quite boring. I guess there's one in every crowd, but count me out as a fan.

For a second I thought you were playing off of Jim's post and quoting stewie from family guy. Then you didn't say "it insists upon itself"

Thank you for helping to add a new word to my vocabulary with the use of "genera". I have honestly never seen the word used before, and in looking it up I've found it to mean the plural of "Genus", which stands to reason.

Also add me to the list of those who've never seen "The Godfather".

I can't say with certainty that I wouldn't like it, but the bits and pieces that I have seen have never made me feel the urge, or given me much curiosity to see it through.

I'm that way about many mainstream movies. Obviously I'm in the minority, but I didn't care for "Batman: The Dark Knight", either while the rest of the world couldn't stop raving about it.

I didn't even finish it as its dark depressing seriousness about it bored me to tears, and made me feel out of sorts.

I'm more inclined to appreciate the old TV Batman that always had a flair of humor and color about it, and not some dark shadowed suicide prompting sheen.

Biff!

Bam!

Pow!

No way you can watch it once and understand it all.

Playing at Florence tomorrow. The first one at 2:00 and Part II at 7:00.

I like the Godfather and Scarface, but I would rather watch Goodfellas and Casino.

I always like to read the book first, then see the movie. The book was outstanding so you may want to read before you watch the movie, but watch the uncut version.

Interesting. While Goodfellas and Casino are both very good, I don't think I could put them above the Godfather.

I really like Goodfellas and it is easier to watch but I don't think it's better. Donnie Brasco is a very good movie also.

I like any movie that has "Some" basis in a true story.
