May 18, 201412 yr Sad news. 2011 HHS valedictorian Randy Runyan was killed in a car accident. He was a student at Wake Forest. Sad, sad, sad. Heartbreaking.

May 18, 201412 yr He was just a great young man. My son was telling us tonight that Randy was the only person he has ever known who not one person ever had a bad thing to say about him and he never said a bad thing about anyone else. Prayers to his family and friends.
May 18, 201412 yr My nephew, who graduated with Randy, is pretty torn up over this. He wasn't close with him, but as 75center said, he couldn't have been a nicer kid. Prayers to his family, and to the other driver and his family, can't imagine what he is going through right now.

May 20, 201412 yr I have made that turn left onto Memorial Parkway 1000 times over the past 15 yrs and it is very dangerous. You have to watch both ways and cars speed often. The Ft. Thomas police do a pretty good job of sitting in Dr. Sutkamp's parking lot to deter speeders but IMO they should have a sign stating NO LEFT TURN during the hours of 7-9am and 2-4pm. These are the highest traffic times when you have parents/kids driving to and from school. Very sad and my prayers are with the family of Randy Runyan. I hope his grandfather recovers as well.
