I just took a peak at the picture of the bullet holes and a couple of things kind of stand out. All four are in the upper half of the windshield. The girl was struck in the chest area.

And the hood on that car (Subura?) is very very tiny.....I wish we had video of how the deputy was "riding" on the hood.

I had a chat last night with a pretty good source that says the officer will walk without any criminal charges. He said Civil litigation would be his only issue.

Yea, I'd have to agree that it is hard to believe he was off the car when the shots were fired. He broke his ankle falling off the car and was on the ground which makes it hard to shoot through the windshield while laying on the ground.

Heard that this morning. Heard the first one (don't remember her name) asked to be excused, but that it's now been assigned to Jim Crawford. And for me, this will tell me a lot. Because from everything I know about Jim Crawford, is that he doesn't like to lose. And by that, I mean, if there's nothing there (or very little) to win a conviction...he's not going to waste people's time, and the issue will be dropped. But, if he pushes the issue...then look out.
