It is procedure not to release autopsy until the case is addressed, they will when it's time, nobody is getting robbed of anything.

How would toxicology findings contradict the statement of the officer? Did the officer say she was under the influence? I did not see that statement. I'm assuming he did not have a chance to determine if the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs since she did not stop? I'm assuming he is with holding since it is a high profile case in the area?

 

He said he viewed her as having glassy eyes and appearing to be intoxicated. I don't know that he concretely said she was drunk or high. I'm just asking if the reason the findings would be withheld are innocent as in exactly what you said, it's high profile OR if it's because it contradicts statements made so they're keeping it private from the media to not spin things out of control.

OK so the facts would be what? Girl shot and killed. End of thread. This entire thread is speculation. Some folks side with the cop, others with the girl. Opinions drive this board. In a situation such as this. Not much information is going to be shared by sources other than the media who are looking to sell commercials or papers. Prime example is the coroner holding the report back.

Well as you alluded to someone did die, so we prob owe it to that person to avoid hearsay. We all hear something from somebody but we're not the media, most people are credible on here.

That's the point I was making earlier. When the law says stop and you don't listen and instead ignore them, they're going to force you to stop.

Hmm, I think once he did get on the hood, she did try to stop the car and put it into reverse to get away. At that time he was able to slide off the hood, drop to one knee and fire his weapon towards her. Maybe that helps explain why the car ended up in reverse rolling backwards?

Unless your source is the investigator it's all speculation. And if your source is the investigator, he's a freaking moron for discussing the case, and you're a crappy friend for divulging that information.

Not a forensics guy by any means, but the picture I saw of the windshield and the way they said the gunshot wounds were on the girl, the trajectory doesn't make sense to me for the officer to be standing at the end of the hood (or further away). The better way to get that angle would be to have the gun up against the windshield, and to do that, you'd have to be on the hood. If he was standing that close to her, seems it would have been more logical to put the gun up to the drivers side window...and not the front windshield.

My thoughts as well. I imagine the inquiry is largely over whether she was stopped when he fired or was speeding away as he said.

 

Or, I should say if there are charges being brought or pursued it would likely be over that issue. I would be surprised if the investigation concluded it happened as he said and charges were still coming.
