But we aren't sand bagging by emphasizing the advantage UK has inside. Rebounding can win and lose games, and UK is one of the best in the country at doing it, especially on the offensive end. Louisville, as a team, hasn't played well offensively in the tournament, Russ included. If Louisville plays like they did in the AAC Tournament, the game is a pick 'em. Louisville can not play like they did this weekend and win.

Come on Deuce and Getslow. I support the Cards too. But the Cards are hot, they have an advantage with Russ on both ends of the floor. Harrell is the most improve player I've seen this year. Pressure out front from the Cards will make life tough on the turnover prone guards of UK. Sure UK has the advantage on the glass, but UL has the advantage from beyond the arc. You guys act like UL is doomed because of a bad matchup. I can't think of another coach I'd take in the country to have a week to re-prepare than RP.

Kentucky, while struggling at times, has in recent weeks played the No. 1 team in the country to a single point and knocked off an unbeaten No. 1 seed.

 

And just to reiterate: Kentucky already won this game earlier this year.

That's what I was thinking. They average 12 a game on the year. It seems as long as they stick to their average it shouldn't kill them.

12 turnovers that don't lead to points perhaps, you know, lobs to no one or the Young-nearly-picked-up-his-ridiculously-lefthanded-dribble fling. If they turn it over as a direct result of the ball pressure UofL will bring, then different game IMO. Louisvilles pressure could upset the apple cart, no doubt.

 

And to Andrew Harrison's credit, when he leaves the game, the CATS struggle mightily to deal with any form of ball pressure. Aaron is prone to rip, and poor Polson, well, I'll just leave it at poor Polson.

Here's another problem for UL. If UK stops Russ then it's game over. UL has to stop about 3 players to be successful. UK has do much gelling right now it's going to be almost impossible for that to happen.
