As I've said before, I'll let you know when I'm trolling (see my initial post in this thread, for example).

 

I really don't know what to think about this game, much like the regular season one. I echo what others have touched on: if Wichita UK shows up & if Manhattan UL shows up, it's a no-brainer. I don't think that will happen though. I don't think UK will be as good as they were against Wichita & I don't think UL will be as bad as they were against Manhattan.

 

Montrezl has to stay out of foul trouble for UL. If he has to sit for lengthy spells, that's troublesome for the Cards. I am anticipating a five-star performance from Russ because it's such a big game & UK doesn't have anyone that can contain him.

 

I'm going with UL because I picked them to beat Florida for the title, but it's a really tough game to pick. I don't think I would be surprised by any outcome or margin of victory.

If I remember correctly, UK's length really bothered Russ and Hancock in that one. I agree if that happens again, it's going to be a long night for the Cards.

Cards should play conservatively on defense, at least in the first half, IMO. Pack the lane, make them jump shooters. Don't go for too many steals or blocks, keep themselves out of foul trouble until half time. After that, let 'er rip...

This has all the hype to be a very underachieving game by both sides. This outcome will be the same as December. U/L won't be able to match up with a surging Kentucky Team.

You forgot the most obvious sign. It's apparent Getslow sold his soul to the Devil with Dayton in the sweet 16 and I'm sure he threw the Cards in there as well. This is over before it starts. Louisville names the score.

Come on now Deuce, just a week ago there was tremendous angst that UofL was hosed by the committee, should have been a 2, perhaps a 1. Pitino said they were playing better than anyone in the country. Now an unranked opponent is a bad matchup?

 

Cannot both be true? Louisville may have earned a two seed; that doesn't preclude a team that could easily have been a six seed from being a bad matchup.

Two years ago I watched the Final Four game in Michigan with a bunch of Michigan State fans. Soon as the game ended yesterday I decided I'm either heading to Indy or back to KY to watch this game. I need a bar or arena full of people chanting C-A-T-S to get the full affect of this game.
