The way the game is called will be key. If it is a "historical" Big East whistle, favors UofL.

I see U of L being in foul trouble all game. The Harrisons are doing a great job at driving and drawing fouls and then of course there is the lack of big men for U of L to throw at UK. I feel comfortable about this game right now, but can guarantee I'll be ridiculously nervous when I see Ricky P and the Birds on the court on Friday. People are forgetting these are National Champions on the other side of the court still.

I think an early tell will be who plays 'loose'. The team that tightens up first or stays tight will have the harder time. Frustration will be an enemy of either team. UK is young and at times plays young. But not in the big dance. UL has played tight in their two games. Smith and Hancock will have to stay positive and upbeat. Smith may do some crazy moves and lose a couple of possessions but that is his style. Its not unlike Siva last year. Hancock has provided great leadership via his play the last two games but he will need to be emotional leader and keep the Card upbeat.

 

Harrelson will need to avoid early fouls and stay in the game, especially if WCS and Randell are hot. The mo' is definitely with the Cats right now with their last two games.

I think it was Adam Zagoria that tweeted out that sources have said he's gone once the season ends. Who knows the validity of it, but I've seen it in multiple places today.
