Trent Gilbert with 10 points on 4-25 FG shooting & 2-14 3pt shooting. Was 0-2 from the FT line, I believe both were front ends of the bonus. He's a 91% FT shooter.

I can't find the thread I started after the first Holmes/CCH game in regards to the role Parker Keller played but let me once again applaud the kid for his defensive tenacity and his ability to persevere. Cut as a frosh. Last man on JV as a soph. Got JV minutes as a junior.

 

He played the end of the state championship game and guarded one of the two hottest players in the entire tourney. Made 2 FTs late in OT.

 

Great, great story. Proud of him.

Great high school career for Trent Gilbert. Crazy to think he put up 1000 points in one season.

 

In no way is he a D1 player. NAIA is his fit.
