This one is to be played on Sunday afternoon. Who wins ?

I think that WSU is on a mission, just too good of a "basketball team". U.K. has the top talent, athletes. WSU has tough basketball players - including the best point guard in the country, they play excellent defense, rebound the ball and a very good coach. They are not flashy, they just go out and play hard every second and have beaten whoever has been across from them.

WSU 75

U.K. 63

I hope that I am wrong. Go Cats !

Like how UK matches up. If they come and figure out how to shoot then I like their chances. If UK plays like the did tonight then they'll lose by 10....

Being the optimistic UK fan I am, UK by 4.

Van Vleet is very good. He is in no way the top PG in the country though.

Baker and Early are guys that will play at the next level. Kentucky needs to crash the glass, play solid defense, and pound it down low. I think they match up very well wit the Shockers, and conversely they're a nightmare matchup for Wichita State.

All that said, it's going to take a great effort from the Cats to pull it off.

I'll go with the Shockers...67-61.

If UK ayes like they did last night they could lose big.

:idunno: I would rank UK's play last night as one of their best games of the year. It was in the top 2 or 3 defensive games they played all season. Offensively, they are moving the ball better than they have all season. They are playing with more intensity and much more physical than they have all year. Last night was an extension of the play we saw in the SEC tournament. They had a few too many turnovers and few too many moments of lacking intensity that plagued them all year, but I like the way UK played last night and it gives me hope they can beat Wichita.
