With Chames' strong touch from the FT line I'm surprised he only scores around the basket. I would think if he had the ability to put the ball on the floor he'd be heck to deal with from 15 in.

It seemed like he took 10 3's alone in just tonight's game. He missed all of them.

I was sitting with a fellow Conner grad. We both thought of the exact same thing at the exact same time. Ned Kleier. Ned was our trainer and was infamous for saying "tape it up" on any injury.

I saw him put up 29 a couple months ago. I thought he might have been more involved offensively tonight because of the way Bolden struggled to find his shot.

Did I hear/read correctly that Holmes was 3/27 from 3? That's with 2 by Bolden coming in the last minute?

Whether you are a fan of the team that lost or not, showing a little class goes a long way.

My Cooper team lost to Holmes last year in Regionals by a last second miracle 3 pointer which was heartbreaking, yet I pulled and rooted the Bulldogs on all the way through their great run down state last year.

 

Nick may make a living off of his pushing off etc. but that wasn't what beat Holmes tonight. It was no outside shooting that beat Holmes.

 

I hope CCH does NKY proud and I will be their biggest fan next Wed.
