Kid is a gamer. The stars aligned when Nick and Dad came on down.

Most significant infusion to a 9th Region Program in a long long time IMO. If there is no Ruthsatz family in NKY IMO they dont win the Region or have as much success as they have had the past 3 yrs. Great player and great coach. Whoever went out and found him should be rewarded in a big way.

I wasn't aware of those guidelines. However, if that is true, runnerup Holmes only had 2 players make the team.

Sorry I thought it increased with each victory but I checked and the semi-finalists get two and the champion just adds an MVP. So Holmes' 2 was correct as it took place.

And you sound bitter.

I'm fine but never in my life have I seen a kid get away wit a push off the whole game fully extended arm 95% of the time and a no call that's bull

Cov cath got a gift tonight nick pushes off every play and they called it one time I hope they get blown out down state. Great present for them

Pot meet kettle...

James Bolden and others extended arms on multiple drives in the fight to stave off Dixie last night. No calls. No complaint there, I assume....

In fact, in watching more than a fair share of district and regional games, they really allow the penetrating guards to use forearms and extended arms on the offensive end.

Folks, let's keep it civil.

Carry on.

Winner is the only one that gets 3 (I think).

If Holmes was limited to two players, then I am fine with Hill and Bolden.

And Bolden uses his arm as well.

I was wrong on my original post. Winner gets the 3rd as MVP, that is correct.

That's a funny story in itself for another day.

Uninterested party here - Ruthsatz had one play where I thought he clearly pushed off that wasn't called. I felt Holmes players were doing a lot of defensive arm bars that didn't get called too. Overall, I thought the refs did a good job.

Had Bolden not fouled him late near halfcourt Nick would have been whistled for his fifth foul.

Yes, I agree.

That isn't the play I am talking about where I thought Ruthsatz got away with a push off. The play I was referring too was late in the game near the top of the key and a foul was called on a Holmes player.
