I got a message from a friend about Birdsfan and then one from his brother less than 20 minutes after I posted about him getting to go home. Talked to his brother as I was on my way to the hospital. I am now home as I didn't want to burden the family in this very trying time. All I can say right now is that he does have a pulse again and I was told he is stable. Out of respect for his family I am not going to say anything more at this point until I think it's okay.

Please...PLEASE, pray for Dave.

 

Good to hear he is stable. Keep strong BF. The entire Fort Thomas community is praying for you to get better soon.

Thinking about BF as I sit here at work. Had many nice conversations with him on here years ago. Hoping with all I have within me for a full recovery.

I'm terribly saddened by this news. Thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest Comforter of the Troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in Your hands. We ask that You restore Your servant Dave to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of us.

Read where RTS posted that Dave had been sent home, and then read the awful news posted just a few post later. Made me sick to my stomach. Praying for you Birdsfan.

Please keep praying. Last I've heard as of a little earlier is he still fighting, and I know no one that is tougher.
