Prayers from the Dog house. Get well very soon BF!

Prayers and Angels brother.

Birdsfan is one of those special people who you become friends with and then after a while it seems like you have known him your whole life.

He has been through, and overcome, so much in his life and although he probably doesn't realize it, he has been an inspiration to me ever since I first became acquainted with him on BGP in 2001. Over time I came to know him very well and consider him to be one of the "true" friends that I know will always be there if I call on him. I have met up with him on numerous occasions, have been to visit him at his home several times and cannot count the number of really personal conversations I have had with him.

When he isn't here on BGP, I miss his wit and his wisdom, which he always manages to dole out in a way only he can. When Birdsfan "zings" you, you know it, LOL.

I hope he gets better soon and is able to be back on BGP in full stride. Prayers continuing from the 2C household.

Update on Birdsfan.

I visited him for a while today, he seemed to be in good spirits and said he felt a bit better today and could breathe better than when he was admitted. He joked with me on and off, which is a good sign.

They still aren't really sure what's going on with him and there are two different teams of doctors battling it out as to what exactly the course of action will be. I do know he has pneumonia on one side and that just adds to his problems.

He wants you all to know he is watching this thread but just doesn't have the oomph to post and he appreciates all the wonderful thoughts and prayers.

When I left, he got a bit (as he would say) snippy because the nurse for his bi-pap machine fitted the head gear way too tight and simply would not listen to him. Other than that, he is in very good spirits, just tired.

Please continue to keep him in your prayers and let him know you're thinking about him. Like I said, he is watching this thread and it means a lot to him as it does me.

Thanks everyone.

Oh, he is in room 7073 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati if anyone wants to send a card or something.

Thanks for the update RTS! I'll certainly keep prayers going.

I'm glad to hear he is in good spirits still. Thoughts and prayers from our household as I look forward to many more food on the shoe and squirrel stories. :-)
