I don't like the Beibs. Never had. Never will. I hope he doesn't last long enough to join the "27 Club". He doesn't deserve that recognition. Also, I wonder if he ever got his monkey back from the German government?

Wow, I don't really care much for the kid either, but wishing him dead at such a young age is a little harsh.

A friend told me that there were some extra-curricular activities taking place (with a female) when he was pulled over as well.

And this is why people die. This comment should be posted in every courtroom that sees a DUI case.

For what? The courtroom is where they make a mockery of DUIs not UKMF and lawildcat.

And I have argued for a long time now that people SHOULD spend jail time on a first offense with a very penal fine. It would, in my opinion, greatly curtail the epidemic of drunk driving in this country.

I don't think anybody is disagreeing with that. The laws of this country don't treat DUIs seriously.

This will end up being a speeding ticket and DUI and he'll get probation.

Liked your reply PP, but from what I can garner I think that some do disagree. But maybe I'm wrong.

Not for the judges. For the defendants. I'm referring to the attitude that it's no big deal. It is a HUGE deal. When you are charged with DUI, you're being penalized (too lightly) for a multiple murder that never (if you're lucky) happened.

I get what you are saying but that is taking it a little to far to the other extreme. Using that logic anyone ticketed for a speeding or failing to stop at a red light, etc. is a potential multiple murder that never happened.

They punishment for DUI may be light but you can't just aquate anyone with a DUI to being a murderer. Unless I'm mistaken unlike most crimes (1st degree, etc.) DUI is DUI but I wouldn't say there are all the same. In my eyes the guy who gets a .09 after 3 beers with dinner isn't the same as the guy who drank a 5th of liquor and gets a 2.4. While neither should be driving, one poses far greater a risk than the other.

I got from them that they were just being honest and realistic about how DUIs are treated legally. Not their personal feelings. They said a lot of the same things I would have said.

I could be wrong as well.

And I am talking about the people who deliver the penalties. Judges most certainly can give a harsher sentence if they really wanted to send a message. Until DUIs are treated as a serious crime why should the defendant show any concern? I know tons of people who have DUIs and some with mulitple DUIs. The fact that they are still able to drive now is the fault of our laws and the penalties for breaking those laws are just too soft.

Didn't really mean I wish him dead. Was thinking more that I didn't want his career to last that long for him to be relevant. His whole reckless lifestyle seems to be in a downward spiral. If he continues, he will end up dead.

She has a nice rap sheet which includes a stabbing incident. She looks a bit like Kardashian but look at that 2011 mug shot and you'll know why she needs to cake it on. She's also has been in relationships with quite a few famous people including Desaun Jackson.

THIS!

I hate drunk drivers just as much as the next person. I've lost friends and family at some point in my life because of drunk driving. The reality though is that a DUI is a misdemeanor; not a felony. They don't deport people for misdemeanors. Luckily, for Mr. Bieber and everyone else involved, there was no fatality to bring the charges up to a felony.

So we're sharing the jackpot when their numbers come up? I can live with that.
