So is Dressman or Wagner going to be the QB this year?

 

My guess is that Wagner will come out starting at QB and that Dressman will be on the field as an inside slot similar to how they used Sam- or in a two back set with Darlington. I can see them flip flopping at the QB and Inside slot positions- but both on the field. You keep multiple threats on the field and make the defense respect all of them- I think they will do some fun things this year.

Why are they beatable this year as opposed to any of the other previous years? Are CC fans hopes higher because Dale is no longer in charge?

Wouldn't that be logical? Arguably the best coach in KY history is no longer at the helm, I'd say that other teams feeling they have a better shot vs the Birds only makes sense. May turn out that nothing really has changed, fundamentally, and the wins will keep mounting, but until then, I'd say Dale's departure has given others a higher level of hope for beating Highlands. A lot of legendary coaches have stepped aside and their program has suffered dramatically, a LOT, but the Highlands' faithful believing nothing will ultimately change could end up being right.

 

Time will tell.

I am not going to re-direct this thread to a discussion of Highlands and/or Dale Mueller, but it might be interesting to hear others thoughts on a topic such as this.

Why are we turning a CCH 2014 thread into a discussion about Ryle? Last year is over and has no bearing on what happens this year.

 

I was reading about CCH. Ryle was brought in by other posters and I felt the need to interject. Last year is over. So no need to Speculate on how weak we should be. We won't be, good luck to all.

There may be years where Highlands is beatable, but certainly not by Covcath. Last year over at Covcath could've been 90-0. I thought Highlands played way too conservative in the playoff game or that could've been a big margin too. On a side note, covcath did have a nice basketball team.

I'm not saying Covcath can't beat Highlands this year. I'm saying they weren't beatable by Covcath any time recently.
