Passing: 125/213/9 for 1,730 yards and 19 touchdowns

That's what I was wondering, it looks like he played very little on defense last year and only had one tackle.

 

But, from what Bluedad had reported it looked like Dressman may play multiple positions on both sides of the ball, which kind of surprised me considering he seemed to be the primary returning weapon on offense, and what I expected to be the front runner for the QB position.

 

Someone will correct me but I'd imagine if Dressman had a tackle it must have been on a turnover unless he played special teams before he became the starting QB. I do not believe he played D. Dave Wirth likes to platoon so that's why I'd be shocked to see him on defense.

Great, great year. I fully admit he slayed what my expectations were of him. He progressed into one of the better QBs in NKY by year end.

As Clyde said, if the stats say Dressman had a tackle it would have been after a turnover. He only plays on the offensive side of the ball.

 

There will be some interesting things on offense this year with Wagner, Dressman, Darlington and the very quick (though not real tall) WR's. Multiple threats is a big help. Last year, Dressman, Darlington and McGinness (WR) were thrown into the fire and had to grow up quick. All performed very well, but with that year under their belts plus the come back of Wagner, it will be fun to watch how each gets the ball.

The CovCath O-line seems like it's going to be very good. They seem to have nice depth there too.

Don't know about pads, but usually things get started in helmets only. Next week I believe.

The name that comes to mind for me as point of comparison - Brady Hightchew. It doesn't sound like Dressman will get the full time job as QB, but if he did Hightchew-like is what I would expect.
